Pride Centers are one-stop shops for city services, dedicated to protecting the health, safety and welfare of families living in the area. They take great of my grandfather (Fred Warren) He has his own apt, they do all his laundry and clean. They have the best dining 3 times a day, doesn't like to eat alone and he always has company. They have inside events weekly, as well, as taking them out in their own van to outside restaurants and events. I go there and have lunch with my grandfather especially on holidays and I'm treated like family. If you need you need assistance with elderly family members go there, you will live happily and not alone ever.

Gladden’s Seniors Outreach Program helps seniors with their basic needs and offers transportation to help them access groceries and other essential services and necessities. The solution to homelessness is affordable housing. People are literally dying for shelter in Los Angeles. We will not stand by and do nothing while our neighbors are suffering. Homelessness makes it difficult to treat illnesses. Housing First allows access to primary care and outpatient services, improving health outcomes.
We collaborate throughout the year with the Breathing Association for various programs. Our Community Services Case workers are able to assist in making appointments with the Breathing Association.
The Gladden Community House serves 12,000 residents in Franklinton, as well as the Hilltop and surrounding areas. It has 38 full-time employees and 12 part-time staff and utilizes about 800 volunteers each year.Annually, the nonprofit serves about 200 youth in after-school programs and 550 youth in its year-round sports program. Gladden offers money management and parenting classes, helps adults find better employment, addresses housing needs and ensures children attend school. Our 4-Star Step Up To Quality state-licensed preschool provides 3-5 year olds with a firm educational, social, and developmental foundation that ensures they’re ready to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. We enroll more than 60 preschoolers annually and we work to engage preschool parents and guardians in our agency’s supportive programs as well. After filtering out facilities that didn’t meet our high standards, we were left with 8 assisted living communities that earned our seal of approval. Through this process we discovered that the average cost of assisted living in the city of Glendale is $4,500, which is the same as the state average of $4,500 and higher than the national average of $4,051.
